A few portraits of oyster harvester on the side of the casamance river.
This river is accompanied with mangroves and oyster mountains.
Mainly women do the job of collecting oysters from the mangroves around west Africa.
Most of the time they will wait for the low tide to access properly, with their Canoe, the roots of the tree and pick those molluscs.
They are sold fresh or smoked, and many are exported worldwide.
The sky is strange, sand storms from the Sahara and bush fires from Senegal and countries around are coloring it.
